59"x53" Cotton fabric, thread, machine applique, machine quilted In my Quilted Portraits, I use what I call my "puzzle interchange" technique. The ninepatch in the center shows this. But I wanted to make it a "Modern Quilt," so I used all modern fabrics for the faces, called them "Modd Muggs," and created a huge border emphasizing different modes of quilting patterns.
