“Elf Quilt” is one of my series of “The Quilted Portrait” or “puzzle interchange machine appliqué” quilts. I designed the elves so that one pattern is a boy elf and the other one is a girl elf. The girl elf has a hat that points to the right and the boy elf is wearing a hat that points to the left. This piece would look great in a children’s room or on a hospital wall. The materials and techniques are machine appliquéd fabric, thread, buttons, and paint.
