I love having lots of fun ideas; its one of the most enjoyable parts of being a creative being. I like to brainstorm and get inspired to do new projects. Then comes the hard part--or at least a little bit more difficult than the idea stage. After that, comes the time when you create the intention to make something happen. For instance, I have a great many drawings that are ideas for my quilts, but to actually have an intention to make one of the designs into a quilt, I need to get the image enlarged onto a bigger piece of paper, choose fabric colors, thread colors, clear my design wall; schedule time, and then focus and produce the final textile. Since I make my living by selling art, I then follow a procedure to market each new quilt. When I'm intentional I am powerful!
