In this artwork, I have shown big white birds bursting out of a cone-shaped container. In the top section I have placed my flying saucers with little painted panels, beads, buttons and embroidery.  On the bottom row, I have placed the six brides and the entire quilt is covered with strips of veil that can be lifted to reveal their faces and the details of the surface. I often thought if I ever remarried, I might remove the veils!

The materials and techniques are machine appliqué, fabric, thread, buttons, beads, painted panels, acrylic paint, fabric paint, braids, and veils.
